This implosion will be long remembered for being scheduled for 12:00 on 2010-08-22 with thousands of people waiting for the moment.... only to go off prematurely at 11:56:23!! The weather cleared slightly that morning but as we were given the 5 minute warning it started to rain again... then suddenly at about three minutes to twelve we heard 5,4,3,2,1 and everyone rushed to switch their cameras on.... I got my lens cap off and started clicking as the first tower was already falling. There must have been a few thousand people that gathered to watch the last moments of the towers coming down. The taffic jam out of Pinelands lasted well over an hour.
