It took me a lot longer to figure out the basics of the animation technqie inKritas too many videos I watched did not explain some of the finder details. In the end I actually reaed the Krita online manual which showed the easier SHIFT + Arrow advancement etc. I managed to use plain layer transform to rotate the vehicle.
I see Krita is supposed to include tweeining now too which could really help speed things up as I moved each frame manually. But even given that, it took about 10 minutes to do.
The backgroumd image is actually taken from a map for the 3 Oct 1949 Arbor Day Road Races in the Paarden Eiland area in Cape Town, where my father raced his MG TD.
