Suzuki GSX-750. Quite advanced in its day with double overhead cam shaft and 16 valves, dual disc brakes on front. I had this bike for a while and toured up to the Eastern Cape Province on it - down side on this trip was a valvle dropping ona stretch of road in the Great Karoo called the Valley of Desolation". The reason being not many vehicles travel on that road..... I had one serious accident on this bike when the traffic suddenly stopped on a freeway and the it was raining - I could not stop and was boxed in with cars on either side - I had to slide the bike for about 60m before jumping off just before it buried itself under a Valiant. We had quite a job lifting the car off the bike. Luckily I did not have a scratch as the wet oily road caused me to just slide safely after I had jumped off. To this day I remeber the metal sparks flying up as the bike slid along the tar road.
