Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX36 (or FX35 in some markets)

A new camera to backup my Sony A100 DSLR (which is a bit bulky) with all its lenses etc. So this will act as backup if I need video or quickly need to go for a zoom shot. It's not the latest model but will suffice as an ultra compact point-and-shoot. Basic specs are 10.1Mpixels with 25-100mm zoom (super wide angle) and f2.8-5.6 with face detection, image stabiliser, masses of scene modes (baby with age, pet, beach, snow, starry sky, fireworks, arial photo, party, candlelight, sunset, food, self portrait) etc. An early Christmas present to myself - not like last time when I rushed around after the 25th trying to find a camera place open to buy something....
