This blockhouse guards the railway bridge just outside Wellington, on the road to Wolseley. This was the start to a ride I made on 20 April over Bain's Kloof Pass Mountain again, this time I did the reverse route. This meant I had more time to stop and take photos on this stretch of road, where I was normally picking up the pace to get home.
