We visited the nature reserve this morning to put some steps on the Fitbit (Chantel was there for the fresh air, views, and some exercise). After a short sharp ascent by tar road we came to a picnic area under some pine trees with really stunning views. Also departing from here is a wheelchair trail. It is well worth coming up here just for this view. It was not busy at all and the R13 per person entrance fee is very reasonable. Continuing a bit further up the road will bring you to an old signal cannon and the radio antennas at the top where there is another bench with a great view (no shade though).
